Washington State Society of Clinical Social Work (WSSCSW) board members are hosting an informal social coffee hour. We do not have a set agenda. We want to meet up with clinical social workers and hear from you about your ideas and needs as we move forward as a community. In addition to hearing from you, it’s an opportunity to network and connect with other clinical social workers. If you work or live in the area, we hope you will swing by. The location is  The Hanger at 6728 Northeast 181st Street, Kenmore, WA 98028

More information and online registration: Join us for a casual coffee meet-up with Denise and Andy.

Best regards,

EAHR is looking for licensed clinicians to join our growing teams of volunteer evaluators using their clinical skills to engage human rights work! www.evaluationalliance.org. Our next LIVE training will be offered September 9thwith the opportunity to earn 3 CEU credits through NASW.

Are you interested in learning how your clinical skills can uphold and protect the rights of asylum seekers navigating the barriers of the U.S. immigration system? Are you interested to volunteer your time and expertise to support asylum seekers and human trafficking survivors in their journey toward stability and safety?
Evaluations document the physical and psychological evidence of human rights abuses and the impact of these traumas on the individual in an expert witness affidavit. On average, an evaluation more than doubles the likelihood of an asylum-seeker winning their case to rebuild their life safely in the United States. Experience with intake interviews, assessments, and immigration evaluations are welcome, but not required. We see a very diverse range of case needs at EAHR; expertise in gender-based violence, trauma, LGTBQ care, domestic violence, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Spanish-language services, and child/youth specialists are commonly requested!
