Professional Development

The Washington State Society for Clinical Social Work is committed to bringing clinicians in Washington quality and affordable continuing education (CEU) events as well as opportunities for networking and professional growth and development.

Conferences

A yearly conference is offered each spring to provide continuing education on a broad variety of clinical topics. Conference presenters are nationally known experts in their area of practice.

Clinical Evening Meetings

Clinical Evening Meetings (CEM's) are short presentations by members and other community clinicians. Presentations explore clinical material based on the presenters area of practice. These meetings allow colleagues to gather and network with one another, providing necessary social and professional connections. Both panel discussions and fishbowl style conversations will foster deep and meaningful conversations between panelists and participants, encouraging a lively and engaging process for all.

Clinical Evening Meetings Provide:

  • Resources for further development
  • Opportunity to begin conversation between colleagues
  • Deepen awareness of a dynamic within clinical social work
  • 1.5 Continuing Education Credits
