Upcoming event information:

Informal Coffee Meet-Up w/ Denise and Andy at The Hanger at 6728 Northeast 181st Street, Kenmore, WA 98028

Date: October 9th, 2025 at  6:00 PM

Washington State Society of Clinical Social Work (WSSCSW) board members are hosting an informal social coffee hour. We do not have a set agenda. We want to meet up with clinical social workers and hear from you about your ideas and needs as we move forward as a community. In addition to hearing from you, it’s an opportunity to network and connect with other clinical social workers. If you work or live in the area, we hope you will swing by. The location is  The Hanger at 6728 Northeast 181st Street, Kenmore, WA 98028

More information and online registration: Join us for a casual coffee meet-up with Denise and Andy.

Best regards,

The BIPOC Affinity Group will be a space for BIPOC-identified members to build community, vent grievances, and discuss change without needing to be mindful of white feelings or repercussions. The White Affinity Group will be a space to process white fragility and resistance to change, as well as learn how to be better accomplices to their BIPOC peers. Both spaces will be mindful and respectful of the intersections of gender, sexuality, religion, ability, size, and other marginalized identities throughout discussions. The groups will center trauma-informed and restorative justice practices.

TISE Consulting and Therapy aims to improve personal well-being and working environments for individuals and organizations by focusing on trauma-informed, socially-equitable approaches. Social equity and mental health are intrinsically linked. By increasing organizational awareness and capacity for anti-oppressive and trauma-focused approaches, organizations can increase employee satisfaction, diversity, retention, profits, and more. By reflecting on internal thoughts and sensations, individuals can learn to navigate the emotional turbulence of life in a value-oriented manner. TISE vows to meet each individual and organization where they are with compassion and patience, while encouraging accountability and measurable progress.
