Learn to define both trauma and addiction and begin to see how two oftentimes different worlds overlap in very deep and profound ways.

Learning Objectives
  • Be able to give 1 example of how Trauma and Addiction in how you see them manifest in your world & be able to answer how that changed from before the presentation.
  • Be able to name how trauma & addiction intersect in 2-3 ways & 2-3 treatment options.
Presenter

Lindsey Arrasmith, MSW, LICSW, SUDP holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from Simmons University as well as a Masters Certificate in Addiction Studies from Eastern Washington University. She has been in the field since 2010 and private practice since 2019. Her professional background includes working in various inpatient, outpatient, and supported living settings. In her clinical work she enjoys working with teens and adults with a wide range of challenges including trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction, and codependency.
