Whether new to practice or long-term clinicians, we all experience life events that interrupt our work and intrude into our emotional worlds.

Join us for an interactive discussion with clinicians from a diverse range of practice discussing the impact of life events (ex. illness, loss, parenthood) on their practice. Discussants will share their experience and wisdom gained, especially how they handled practice interruption, sudden leave, reintegration, and disclosure to clients. We do not practice in a bubble and life events, expected and unexpected, will occur. Let us envision together how we can be better prepared for these life events in the hopes that we may have greater peace of mind when they do happen.
