2015 Clinical Evening Meeting

Clinical Evening Meetings are an opportunity to network with mental health professionals in the society and be exposed to cutting edge clinical information while gathering CEU’s.

An Introduction to Working with Trans* and Gender Nonconforming Clients

Presented by
Jamie Katz, MSW, LMHC

Recently, the media has turned the spotlight on trans* and gender nonconforming youth and adults. Although gender nonconformity is nothing new, few mental health care practitioners have received any formal training on gender identity. In this presentation, participants will receive introductory information regarding gender identity and expression, how to assess for gender dysphoria, and various treatment options available to trans* and gender nonconforming clients.

About the Presenter
