The primary aim of this presentation is to develop within participants a working model of how developmental differences in processing influence a child's experience of the world. Hosted by Mente Counseling, this course is divided into a 5 week series in order to examine how these differences affect regulation, attention, and social engagement and reflect on how to integrate this knowledge to foster attunement, connection, and create a supportive environment for the children in their care. If you work with young children in any capacity: as a mental health professional, teacher, occupational therapist or other, you will benefit from gaining a new perspective on the underlying processes that are at play for children.
