MSW Students

MSW students can join the WSSCSW before they graduate. They can then become a part of the organization and receive the same benefits listed for the New Professionals. Even without membership students can join a mentorship group in their second year of graduate school, and begin to get clinical social work support on a monthly basis to help with their transition to the career field. (See below.)

For many years, the WSSCSW has awarded talented Clinical Social Work students from the University of Washington MSW Program, University of Washington Tacoma campus MSW Program and Walla Walla College MSW Program with the opportunity to apply for and achieve the Outstanding Student Clinical Paper Award. If you are a MSW student from one of the above listed MSW programs in Washington State, and are in your final year of the program, please consider applying for this award.
