Welcome to the WSSCSW LICSW Page!
Clinical Social Workers have been licensed in Washington since 2001. The requirements for the LICSW are some of the highest in the country, so LCSW/LICSWs from other states may not have direct reciprocity.
The oversight body for LICSWs is the Washington State Department of Health, not a social work Board. The Master's Mental Health Advisory Committee has an LICSW Committee member who represents the interests of LICSWs to DOH though the Committee.
